MacKenzie Hansen
Area Director - Grand Island, Kearney, & Ord
With nine years of prior experience in the IDD field as a DSP and in management, MacKenzie Hansen is the Associate Area Director in Grand Island and Kearney. She began her journey with Hands of Heartland as a Team Member Coordinator (TMC) in 2023 and was promoted to Associate Director in December 2024.
Inspired by the loss of her son who had a disability, she works to ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) receive the respect, care, and dignity they deserve.
