Aubrey Palmer
Associate Area Director - Lincoln
Aubrey Palmer is Associate Area Director at Hands of Heartland in Lincoln and started in July 2025. She has been in the IDD field since 2010 in various positions and started as a DSP at a vocational site while finishing her Human Relations degree with a minor in Behavioral Science from Doane University. She didn’t realize the job would lead her to a lifelong passion to help people live better lives.
In the years that followed, Aubrey worked as residential lead staff, service coordinator, and as a quality assurance specialist at Goodwill Industries, OMNI, and DHHS. Every experience Aubrey has continues to affirm her commitment to the people she serves.
