Alyssa Wagner
Director of Learning & Development
Alyssa Wagner is the Director of Learning and Development at Hands of Heartland. She began her career in the IDD field in 2015. She graduated from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, with a degree in Developmental Psychology. Alyssa’s experience includes working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Iowa, specializing in working with individuals living with a traumatic brain injury and home and community-based services. She spent eight years with the Developmental Disabilities Division of the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, working as a Service Coordinator, Community Coordinator Specialist, and Service Coordinator Supervisor.
