Shared Living

Shared Living is about creating lifelong bonds, living life with dedicated caregivers, and developing essential life skills in a nurturing community. Shared Living Providers (SLP’s) can live and care for a person in their own home or invite an individual to move into their home and become a part of their family. These arrangements allow up to two individuals to live in the residential homes of caring and competent providers. These environments are designed to promote and teach effective communication and independent living skills while people receive support from a professional caregiver attuned to their needs.
