Transportation

Transportation offers rides to and from waiver services. This offering is separate from rides naturally occurring during service (to a group outing or community event) and should not replace other options available to an individual (rides from friends or family). The need for transportation must be reflected in one or more areas in a person’s services and supports plan; their unique needs will be identified during client assessment. If a ride to a medical appointment is needed, other DHHS services can meet this need.
